The House on the Lake
Of the many houses I live in Not one is mine. My house is the house on the lake. Next to my house a lake, Next to my lake another lake. My house stands in a wood. Next to my house no other house. My house stands in the wood alone. And of the many women I possess Not one is mine. My woman lives in the house On the lake. My woman lives in the house In the wood. In my house in the wood On the lake I live alone. Of all the houses I live in Not one is mine And of all the lakes near my house Not one is mine. In the whole wood Not one tree is mine. And of all the women not one is mine. I own nothing And my woman, My woman sleeps her sleep In the house I live in.
